YouTube Thumbnail Size Adjust does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any user data.

What the extension does

The extension applies its own CSS to https://www.youtube.com to change how many videos appear per row and to scale the size of video thumbnails across the home page, channel pages, subscriptions, search results, and the watch-page recommended sidebar. It can also optionally hide Shorts shelves. It only restyles the page layout. It has no access to your account, viewing history, or activity, and it makes no network requests of any kind.

Data collection

None. The extension does not collect or transmit any personal or browsing data. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no servers.

Settings storage

The only thing the extension saves is your own display preferences — the videos-per-row number, the override-strength level, the on/off state, and the hide-Shorts toggle. These are stored with Chrome's storage.sync API, which keeps them in your own Chrome profile and syncs them across the browsers you are signed into. This data never leaves Google's sync and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

• storage — to save the settings described above.
• Access to www.youtube.com — so the extension can restyle YouTube pages. It is used for nothing else.
